Job Title: 1st Shift Mechanical Assembler/Machine BuilderJob DescriptionThis role focuses on mechanical assembly of enclosures for a variety of machines. You will use hand tools, follow blueprints, and apply your mechanical aptitude to build high-quality machine assemblies in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment.Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical enclosures for various machines according to engineering drawings and specifications. • Interpret and follow blueprints to perform accurate mechanical assembly tasks. • Use a range of hand tools and assembly tools safely and effectively during machine building. • Perform mechanical assembly operations, including fitting, fastening, and aligning components. • Build machine assemblies from start to finish, ensuring proper function and quality. • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and adherence to design requirements. • Work independently to manage daily tasks and meet production goals. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in a well-lit, climate-controlled shop. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating tools and equipment. Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of recent experience interpreting blueprints. • Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly experience. • Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques for machine building. • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints. • Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and basic assembly tools. • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience building or assembling machines or mechanical systems. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Comfort working in a small shop environment. • Reliability and consistency in meeting production and quality expectations. The work is not repetitive, and you will often work independently, using hand tools and assembly equipment to build machine enclosures in a comfortable and organized facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
