Welder 22+/hr Start ASAP Job DescriptionPerform high-quality welding tasks to produce durable, reliable products. Read and interpret measurements using a standard tape measure. Execute basic math calculations for accurate fabrication. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and adapt to company processes. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment in a manufacturing setting.Responsibilities
• Demonstrate proficiency in welding and pass a welding test. • Understand and work with mechanical systems and tools. • Read a standard tape measure and perform basic math calculations. • Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints. • Execute welding on steel products, including Mig, Tig, and Flux core welding. • Participate in fabrication and structure grinding tasks. • Adapt to working in a non-climate-controlled environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Essential Skills
• Proficiency in welding, including Mig and Tig welding. • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with mechanical systems and tools. • Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints. • Proficiency in measurement and basic math skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience with aluminum welding is preferred. • Completion of welding classes or prior welding experience is preferred. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
