EVS Technician Location: Golden, COPay: $20.00-$23.00 per hourSchedule Options:
• Thursday-Monday, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM • Thursday-Monday, 12:30 PM-9:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented EVS Technician to support environmental services operations within a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary patient rooms and facility areas while following established infection control and cleaning procedures.The ideal candidate has prior hospital or environmental services experience and is committed to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, and common areas • Follow established cleaning and infection control procedures • Handle cleaning tasks in environments that may involve exposure to bodily fluids, including blood, urine, vomit, and other biohazard materials • Complete room cleaning checklists and documentation accurately • Sweep, mop, wax, and maintain floors using approved equipment and cleaning products • Operate floor polishers and other environmental services equipment safely • Restock tissues, paper towels, soap, and other facility supplies as needed • Remove trash and medical waste in accordance with facility guidelines • Clean and sanitize waste containers and disposal areas • Move furniture and equipment safely without causing damage • Utilize chemicals and cleaning agents according to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines • Deliver outstanding customer service through professional and compassionate interactions with patients, visitors, and staff Qualifications Required
• Minimum 6 months of hospital environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or related cleaning experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures Preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment • Experience handling medical waste and infection prevention practices • Familiarity with floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals Work Environment
• On-site healthcare facility • Team-oriented environment with direct support from supervisory staff • Candidates will primarily focus on cleaning and turnover of patient rooms • Initial training includes competency assessments, cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and compliance training • PPE and work attire provided Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling • Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies • Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift Why Apply?
