Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team in a custom manufacturing setting where you will play a pivotal role in constructing industrial-sized custom crates and corrugated boxes. You will have the opportunity to work with custom orders, following engineering drawings to assemble high-quality packaging solutions. Responsibilities • Assemble 10-foot long, 4-foot wide, and deep crates using nail guns and impact drivers. • Build crate components such as bases, lids, ends, and shelves. • Install hinges and complete the assembly of crate walls. • Possibly assist in cutting lumber to size using table saws. • Ensure precision by using a tape measure effectively. Essential Skills • Proficiency in using hand and power tools. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Experience in manufacturing or construction settings. • Basic understanding of shop drawings and blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in woodworking, carpentry, or crating. • Familiarity with blueprint reading. Maintain a laid-back work atmosphere. Standard working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Afternoon shifts are from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Thursday. Must be flexible for overtime as needed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON L4W.
