About this role

Job Title: Prime PainterJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Prime Painter, where you will have the opportunity to work a 1st shift schedule from 5am - 1pm or 6am - 2pm, Monday through Friday. Your role will include preparing and painting various parts with precision and care, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications. Responsibilities • Mix and measure paint according to specifications. • Review work orders to confirm that mixed paint and parts match before painting in the booth. • Clean parts as per specifications before painting. • Paint parts according to specified thickness and coverage. • Maintain paint booth filters and ensure the booth is free of foreign object debris (FOD). • Complete all required paperwork accurately. • Conduct post-paint inspections for appearance and proper coverage. • Apply advanced painting skills to adapt to complex or non-routine situations. • Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations. • Complete the daily paint checklist. • Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per OSHA guidelines. • Maintain all paint equipment in good condition. • Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills • Proficiency in painting and paint preparation. • Ability to mix and measure paint accurately. • Experience in industrial painting and the use of HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns. • Capability to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in aerospace or industrial painting is advantageous. • Training on respirator usage will be provided.
