We're looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Intermediated Pricing team on a 12-month secondment.
This role provides an opportunity to deepen your pricing and analytical capability while contributing to some of the team's key strategic priorities, including pricing transformation, system implementation and the ongoing evolution of our pricing approaches.
Working at the intersection of Pricing, Underwriting, Product and Portfolio Management, you'll help design and implement pricing solutions that deliver strong commercial outcomes while supporting great customer experiences. You'll gain exposure to both day-to-day portfolio management and large-scale transformation initiatives, making this an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical expertise, strengthen stakeholder relationships and build your understanding of the end-to-end pricing process.

This is a full-time, 12-month secondment opportunity based in Sydney (Darling Park Tower 2) or Melbourne. This is a max-term full-time role based in Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).
What You'll Do
• Analyse portfolio performance, pricing outcomes and market dynamics to generate actionable insights and recommendations. • Design, build and implement pricing models and analytical solutions that support our intermediated insurance portfolios. • Support the delivery of pricing capabilities into new systems and platforms as part of key transformation initiatives. • Partner with Underwriting, Product, Portfolio Management and other stakeholders to ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives and customer outcomes. • Monitor pricing performance and identify opportunities, emerging trends and potential risks. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance pricing processes, tools and governance. • Share knowledge and support capability uplift across the team through collaboration, peer reviews and coaching of colleagues where appropriate.
What You'll Bring
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business outcomes. • Experience in pricing, portfolio management, underwriting, actuarial, analytics, data science or a related discipline. • Experience using analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python, SAS or similar platforms. • Curiosity and a willingness to learn, challenge existing thinking and explore new approaches. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences. • A collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team success.
