Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and clinic staff. This role involves assisting in filling prescription orders for pharmacist verification, organizing and storing incoming pharmacy supplies and medications, and processing medication orders from wholesalers and vendors. The Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records and medication stock levels, supporting pharmacists in compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements, and performing clerical and administrative duties related to pharmacy operations. Responsibilities • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and clinic staff. • Assist in filling prescription orders for pharmacist verification. • Receive, organize, and store incoming pharmacy supplies and medications. • Process medication orders from wholesalers and vendors. • Maintain accurate inventory records and medication stock levels. • Support pharmacists in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements. • Perform clerical and administrative duties related to pharmacy operations. • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and healthcare staff both verbally and in writing. • Assist with additional pharmacy functions and projects as assigned. Essential Skills • Healthcare experience. • Pharmacy technician license. • Pharmacy technician certification (Cpht). • Experience in retail pharmacy. • Pharmacy technician certificate. • Compounding experience. • Inventory management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Technician license. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work EnvironmentThe position is located onsite at the Lima, Ohio location during scheduled business hours, Monday through Friday. The pharmacy is not open on weekends or holidays, providing a structured work schedule. The role requires a professional appearance suitable for a healthcare environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lima, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
