Description
• Responsible to assist CNC Programming, reviews code, and enhances programming for increased production efficiency (Boschert, Franklin, and turrets). • Assist operators by troubleshooting program issues on the floor • Check parts on the floor to ensure making parts to spec • Analyze tooling and tooling costs, make recommendations with regard to tool life, tooling recycling program • Maintains manufacturing process to fabricate products that meet the fit and functionality of the customer designs. • Interacts with customers if needed for design for manufacturability and design revisions. • Prepare and maintain detailed technicial documentation, including test plans, reports and design specifications. • Provide presentations to employees and leadership on the same as needed. • Interacts with customers and suppliers for equipment and tooling requirements and identify areas for improvement. • Lead the development of best practices and methodologies in engineering processes. • Complete mechanical design projects using CAD systems as required. • Identify improvement opportunities. • Reduce operational costs through cost-reduction ideas and initiatives, process improvements and evaluation of new technologies. • Associates or Bachelors Degree in technical field • 1+ year CNC programming • Microsoft Office Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eminence, KY.
