Job Description: Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, no weekends and no holidays

The Manager Respiratory Care is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Respiratory Therapy Department and related services. This includes oversight of daily operations, staff management, patient care quality, budgetary performance, and regulatory compliance. The Manager ensures delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective care across all age populations. As a member of the interdisciplinary leadership team, the Manager partners with Medical Directors, clinical staff, and administration to promote service excellence, team development, and alignment with UnityPoint Health’s mission, vision, and values.

Education: • Graduate of accredited program for certification eligibility • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field License/Certification: • Must have current licensure in good standing to practice as a RespiratoryCare Practitioner in State(s) of Practice. • RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) • Mandatory Reporter • BLS Basic Life Support (BLS) • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification • PALS/NRP If specializing in pediatric/neonatal critical care medicine must have PALS or NRP Certification Experience: • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience and 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role Other: • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in performance management, budgeting, and project management.
