Support Staff-General Maintenance Specialist-Electrician
Job description: This position is responsible for design, installation, repairs and maintenance of a variety of systems, appliances and equipment. Work is performed independently using specialized tools and is checked upon completion for performance and compliance with safety practices and regulations.
Required qualifications, skills and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Category 1 – HVAC Chiller Specialist (HVAC Journeyman): HVAC Journeyman Certification or higher; Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification (EPA Section 608); R-410A Certified (Within one (1) year of employment). Category 2 – Electrician (Journeyman): Journeyman Electrician (Non-Residential) or higher. Category 3 – Plumber (Journeyman): Journeyman Plumber or higher. Category 4 - Welder-Burner (Certified 6G): Welder Certified 6G or higher. Experience in other maintenance areas or trades desired. Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
