Data Conversion Analyst
Job description: • The Deposit Analyst position carries a broad range of responsibilities and works closely with clients using the Fiserv Signature core banking platform.
• This is a client-facing role that combines relationship building, business analysis, and the ability to learn complex banking and deposit servicing processes.
• This role helps guide financial institutions from competitor platforms onto the Fiserv Signature core system by aligning deposit conversion work with servicing processes, business rules, and operational needs.
• You will analyze converted deposit data, review setup and mapping results, and use reporting and query tools to validate client deposit information and support accurate conversion outcomes.
• The Deposit Analyst demonstrates attention to detail, thrives in dynamic environments, and is comfortable working directly with clients during important implementation milestones.
• You will serve as a key client-facing representative during onsite and remote implementation activities, helping clients understand conversion results and prepare for operational transition.
• The ability to interpret deposit data elements, explain conversion findings, and connect system outputs to servicing and operational impact is central to success in this role.
• You will work with internal conversion teams and bank clients to resolve data issues, lead meetings, and support successful implementations and client experience.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Partner with internal conversion teams and client stakeholders to resolve deposit data mapping, balancing, and reconciliation issues, with emphasis on operational accuracy and servicing readiness.
• Travel onsite to bank clients to review conversion results, balance deposit portfolios and related reports, validate servicing data, and support operational readiness for implementation.
• Train bank clients on deposit operations workflows, back-office servicing processes, and day-to-day use of the Signature software platform.
• Lead onsite and remote meetings with clients to review requirements, discuss findings, and coordinate implementation activities.
• Use reporting and query tools to analyze deposit accounting and servicing data, validate conversion accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support issue resolution.
• Support setup of deposit-related parameters and business rules within Signature and translate competitor system deposit data into target-state servicing and operational requirements.
• Some weekend work and travel are required to support balancing activities and successful client conversion events.
• Go-live conversion events may require additional hours, as needed, to help ensure a successful transition to Fiserv Signature.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, or a comparable educational background.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking, deposit operations, deposit servicing, or a related financial services environment is strongly preferred.
• MS Office proficiency is required, including strong Excel skills.
• Experience with banking platforms, deposit data validation (Checking, Savings, Certificates, Retirements), reconciliation, exception research, or implementation support is preferred but not required.
• Signature core knowledge preferred
• Prior conversion experience preferred
• Some travel time may be expected at the client’s request
• Weekend work will be required for approximately 6-8 weekends per year
