Opportunity Overview: Team Overview: The Managed Investments team is seeking an Associate Product Manager to partner with product leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to support the development, management, and execution of product strategies that help financial advisors deliver exceptional client outcomes. Products supported include mutual funds, ETFs, UITs, 529 Plans, and Donor-Advised Funds. This role bridges analytical execution and product ownership responsibilities, using data, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to drive decision-making and continuous product improvement.

What You Will Do: • Collaborate with Product Managers and leadership to develop, execute, and enhance product strategies aligned with firm priorities and client needs. • Gather, analyze, and synthesize data, business insights, market trends, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities, risks, and recommendations. • Support the management of product and partner relationships of moderate size and complexity. • Help evaluate product performance, competitive positioning, advisor adoption, and client impact to inform product decisions. • Maintain assigned product portfolios and contribute recommendations related to product enhancements, launches, lifecycle management, and partner changes. • Assist in the development and execution of business plans that align with the firm’s strategic direction. • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Service, Finance, and other stakeholders to support product initiatives and resolve issues. • Ensure product communications, educational materials, and partner support resources are accurate, effective, aligned with firm messaging, and compliant. • Serve as a developing subject matter expert for assigned product areas and maintain knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, industry trends, and regulatory developments. • Lead selected initiatives and process improvement efforts with limited guidance while contributing to broader divisional and cross-functional projects. • Support risk identification and mitigation efforts to maintain product quality, client outcomes, and business continuity.

Position Requirements: What Experience You Need: • Bachelor’s degree required; quantitative disciplines preferred (finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering, actuarial science, business analytics, or related fields) • Series 7 and Series 66 required (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire) • Progress toward or interest in relevant industry designations such as CFP, CFA, CIMA, ChFC, CPA or similar credentials is preferred • 3+ years of relevant financial services, investment, product management, product strategy, business analysis, or related experience • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience with reporting, analytics, or visualization platforms such as Tableau or similar tools. Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.

Salary Information: Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.
