Job Description: Internal Audit Analyst - Decatur or Chicago, IL This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary An Audit Analyst works under direct supervision of an audit manager to perform risk-based audits of ADM entities throughout the world. On each assignment, the Audit Analyst leads staff members and reviews, assimilates, and documents work procedures with a focus on inherent risks. Upon completion of audit assignments, the Audit Analyst provides ADM Management and the Board of Directors with objective, accurate, and timely analysis, information, and recommendations.
Job Responsibilities • Perform risk-based audits across ADM entities worldwide. • Lead audit staff on assigned engagements and review work performed. • Identify and communicate control weaknesses, including SOX observations. • Collaborate across ADM divisions to share best practices. • Develop relationships with stakeholders, including executive management. • Support audit reporting and follow-up activities. • Solve moderately complex audit and business issues with guidance from audit leadership. Required Skills • Understanding of agriculture industry and/or commodity trading • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to manage conflict effectively • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines • Leadership and decision-making skills • Strong organizational skills • Microsoft Office proficiency • Experience with data analytics and AI tools • Ability to climb ladders up to 100 feet • Travel up to 30% worldwide • Experience with Data Analytics and AI tools Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field with 12-15 hours of accounting coursework; minimum GPA 2.8 Required Experience • Senior Auditor or 2-4 years of relevant audit experience Desired Experience • Knowledge of grain origination and hedge accounting concepts Assignments and Learning Expectations • Build relationships across ADM including executive management • Work effectively in domestic and international environments • Lead complex audits and provide staff feedback • Apply prior knowledge to new situations Expected Behavioral Competency Performance • Agile Learning/Intellectually Curious • Displays interest to learn and executes direction from ADM Colleagues after initial clarification

: Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
