Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking a visionary Strategy Test and Manufacturing Manager to serve as the primary architect of our production and test capabilities. In this critical leadership role, you will define and execute the long-term technical and operational roadmap, ensuring that our infrastructure, technology, and financial planning are perfectly aligned with business objectives and future product requirements. This position is on frist shift on a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off! You will work cross-functionally to ensure manufacturing scalability, test efficiency, and quality compliance, driving continuous improvement across the full product lifecycle to maintain our competitive edge in the global defense market. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Financial Stewardship

• Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Develop and manage a 5-year outlook for manufacturing and test capabilities to ensure the organization scales effectively with projected growth. • Capital Planning: Lead the strategic identification and justification of capital investments required to modernize the production environment. • Execution Accountability: Serve as the accountable lead for current-year capital execution, overseeing project managers to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and meet performance targets. Technology & Automation Roadmap

• Technology Vision: Maintain the Manufacturing and Test Technology Roadmap, proactively identifying emerging trends to prevent operational obsolescence. • Production Automation: Drive the overarching strategy for automation to increase throughput, minimize manual error, and optimize labor costs. • Test Software Strategy: Establish a standardized roadmap for test software to ensure consistency, maintainability, and scalability across diverse product lines. • Equipment Standardization: Drive the standardization of test equipment to reduce complexity and streamline personnel training. Infrastructure, Compliance & Safety

• Secure Infrastructure: Analyze and plan for the impacts of classified programs on network infrastructure, ensuring strict adherence to security and compliance protocols. • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product Development, Finance, and IT to integrate manufacturing scalability and test efficiency into the product lifecycle from inception. • SHE Stewardship: Support factory safety, ergonomics, and environmental compliance through regular assessments and safety-driven process initiatives.

Required Skills and Education: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related technical field. • Strategic Leadership: Proven experience in strategic planning, capacity planning, or operational roadmapping within a complex manufacturing environment. • Financial Acumen: Strong experience in capital budgeting, financial justification, and managing multi-year investment portfolios. • Technical Breadth: Deep understanding of test engineering, automated test equipment (ATE), and production automation technologies. • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain or maintain the required security clearance for managing classified program infrastructure.

Preferred Skills and Education: • Advanced Degree: MBA or Master's in Engineering Management is highly preferred.
