Get to Know the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in managing product categories, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive business growth. You will be based in our Jakarta office. You will be reporting to the manager.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Analyze category sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimizationMaintain accurate and organized category documentation, including product information, pricing, and promotional materialsCoordinate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, operations, and marketing to ensure category alignment and executionMonitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends to inform category recommendationsSupport inventory management initiatives by tracking stock levels and identifying optimization opportunitiesPrepare detailed reports and presentations on category performance for stakeholder reviewEnsure compliance with category standards, policies, and procedures across all assigned product linesAssist with category planning and forecasting activities to support business objectivesRespond to inquiries and provide support to internal stakeholders regarding category-related matters What Essential Skills You Will Need
2+ years of experience in category management, retail operations, merchandising, or a related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insightsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishFamiliarity with category management principles and retail operations Life at Grab
