The Transportation Capacity team seeks a results-driven Program Manager to lead capacity planning initiatives across Amazon Mexico's transportation network. This role combines strategic planning, cross-functional execution, and data-driven decision-making to ensure operational efficiency at scale. Design and deliver capacity plans with strategic consistency, addressing complex business challenges while driving automation and process improvement across the planning function. Leverage data and analytical tools to deliver actionable insights that improve planning accuracy. Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual processing time. Lead network-wide initiatives with bias for action and measurable outcomes. We are looking for a technical, detail-oriented leader with the ability to dive deep into business, operations, and engineering details. Passionate about leveraging large datasets and transactional volumes to drive decisions. Strong delivery record in cross-functional environments backed by analysis and data. Thrives in fast-paced, high-complexity environments with evolving priorities. Balances tactical execution with mid-long term planning consistency. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute short-term labor plans for Last Mile, ensuring sufficient UTR (Under the Roof) capacity to meet operational demand without restrictions. - Own weekly labor plan accuracy by forecasting headcount needs based on volume inputs, attendance rates, attrition trends, and overtime utilization. - Monitor and optimize key labor metrics including Productivity, Transportaton Capacity, Attendance, Attrition, Over Time, and Headcount utilization against OP2 targets. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for Productivity opportunities, capacity gaps, and plan-vs-actual variances; deliver actionable remediation plans with clear owners and timelines. - Manage Labor Orders and hiring pipelines to ensure adequate staffing levels for standard operations and high-volume events (Peak, Prime Day, etc.). - Collaborate cross-functionally with Volume Planning, Operations, OTR Planning, Network Design, and HR to align labor capacity with network requirements. - Generate and deliver weekly Flash reports with performance summaries, RCA, and action plans for leadership review (Sr Leaders audience). - Build and maintain planning tools and dashboards to improve visibility into labor plan consumption, accuracy, and site-level performance. - Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual planning time, minimize re-work from input changes, and increase planning automation. - Manage capacity trade-off decisions by quantifying the cost impact of productivity vs. capacity trade-offs across UTR, Middle Mile, and Last Mile.
