Royal Building Supplies is seeking an experienced Counterbalance *Lift Truck/Fork lift Operator for the NIGHT SHIFT*. Previous experience in a similar position and knowledge of building supplies. *Candidates must have * well developed communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of drywall, insulation and steel studs is an asset. You will also be a team player, able to operate effectively and safely in a fast paced, multitask oriented environment.
*Responsibilities:*
* Load/unload materials in a safe manner, material handling * Check invoices to verify proper quantities * Prepare orders to be shipped * Fill customer orders according to invoices * Basic Math Skills * Customer Service * Sign and date customer orders * Stock handling, manually lifting over 50kg at times * Report damaged material or equipment to supervisor * Daily Circle Check for lift truck * Advise Supervisor of low inventory levels * Operate equipment in a safe manner * Proper conduct and respect when interacting with fellow employees * Work inside and outdoors, all season weather * Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures * Housekeeping mandatory * Any duty your Supervisor deems necessary
