Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Equipment and machinery experience: Soldering or welding equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Work under pressure.
