Administrative Assistant - Part time 18.75 hpw
You will be working alongside our Lead Administrator and the Clinical Team who support patients and families affected by Cancer, and the staff teams who work with them.
You will support the smooth running of all aspects of the admin required by the service.

Main duties of the job
Work as support to the clinical team in cancer psychology providing general office duties supporting the clinical care of patient
Reports to Lead Administrator.
Transcription of clinical & non-clinical documents (T-pro)
Office support
Enquiries from staff and patients either via telephone or digitally, electronic filing, photocopying, data input for OP clinics and service database
Provides holiday/sickness cover for Lead Administrator
Maintains stationery orders

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in three subjects including English and Mathematics Grade A-D or equivalent experience to demonstrate good numeracy or literacy skills
Desirable
RSA 3/OCR (or equivalent) Knowledge of Medical Terminology & procedures ECDL NVQ Level 2 in customer care/admin or equivalent experience
Experience and Knowledge Essential
IT skills in the use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel etc)
Desirable
Medical Secretary Training Audio typing skills Knowledge of PAS, ICE, Oneview, T Pro, DrDoctor
