About this role

Job summary

We require an experienced phlebotomist with excellent written and verbal communication skills to work alongside our phlebotomy service in Central London.

The successful candidate will join a well-established phlebotomy service. This is a high performing and popular service that aims to deliver an excellent patient experience with world class care.

There 2 full-time posts and 1 16hrs and 22.5 Part time post available

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will need to be competent in carrying out phlebotomy on adults, children, and elderly patients, and will be required to work under minimal supervision. The post holder will need to be well organised, efficient and familiar with all routine blood tests and their clinical importance.

Person Specification

Knowledge and Qualifications Essential

At least 18 months Phlebotomy experience post certificate Certificate of proof

Experience Essential

Able to work in a busy environment Able to communicate in English Able to work under pressure

Skills and Abilities Essential

Ability to communicate with patients, nursing and medical staff Understanding the importance of continued development through PDP's Experience of identifying quality issues and service improvement Ability to understand information processing (IT skills). ERP system.
