Job summary
We are advertising for a GP receptionist to work alongside our current reception team to support clinical and administrative staff.
Main duties of the job
The role consists of receptions duties - answering the telephone, dealing with patients attending the surgery for appointments/queries, completing daily computer tasks, checking incoming emails, scanning of letters/reports etc
About us
We are a friendly two partner practice, also with a salaried GP. We have a full range of nursing and administrative staff. We are also a training practice, so we have GP registrars on rotation with us and also Aston Medical Students, from time to time during the academic year.
We are also part of Wolverhampton North Network, with six other GP practices supporting each other and offering additional services such as, extended access, physiotherapy, specialist diabetes nurse and contraceptive clinics.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths (preferable). Must be Flexible - to to able to work different shift patterns (AM/PM) and to cover for colleagues on annual leave or sickness.
Knowledge and skills Essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills Be able to follow directions and instructions Basic IT skills Work within a group
