Currently we have a position for a full time Radiology Department Assistant (Band 3) within our service, which incorporates all general radiographic assistant duties. A wide range of imaging modalities are used within Radiology, including X-ray, CT scanning and Nuclear Medicine.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will join our existing team of Radiology Dept Assistants who assist Radiographers, Ultrasonographers and Radiologists with their clinical work. Administrative and clerical work is also part of the role. The post holder will be expected to cannulate. These positions will incorporate some time within our mammography and gynaecological ultrasound areas. A flexible working attitude is essential, as the service runs extended hours working across a 7 day working week.
