As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a key role in, treating, and supporting therapists with individuals with a wide range of conditions, helping them to achieve their maximum potential. This role offers a diverse caseload, working within our cutting-edge Neuro Hub and delivering high-quality therapy to clients in their homes and communities, and therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

The Role:
Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Following a comprehensive treatment programme designed by therapists to treat clients following life changing catastrophic injury Manage own caseload working as an autonomous practitioner Demonstrate empathy with distressed clients, carers/ families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved, particularly where barriers to understanding exist Undertake continuous professional development and invest in the team by promoting excellent skills and embedding innovation As a Therapy Assistant you have an opportunity to apply to a degree apprenticeship in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy following 2 years of service.
