Main duties of the job As a Junior Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive OT assessments, plan and review OT treatment programmes under supervision, identify and action referrals both in-house and to external agencies, and support the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at St Mary's Hospital. You must ensure that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards. You will work in a setting with a strong teamwork emphasis, enjoy hands-on experience, and receive guidance and supervision from experienced healthcare professionals. As a Junior Occupational Therapist you will be:

You will be working at Badby Park, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.
You will work alongside side the multidisciplinary and clinical teams to deliver truly person-centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything. The service has extensive facilities to cater for specific needs for people over 18 years old, who have complex neurological care and rehabilitation requirements

Qualifications Essential
A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and UK HCPC registration or applied for. Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups and effective written/verbal communication skills are needed.
