About this role

Job summary

CHP is looking for a Procurement Business Partner who enjoys working with stakeholders, solving practical commercial problems and helping to shape a developing procurement service.

Main duties of the job

Working within a centre-led procurement model, you will provide clear procurement and commercial advice, understand business requirements and deliver quotation, tender and framework-based procurement exercises that support effective decision-making and organisational priorities.

You will manage multiple procurement activities, support procurement and category strategies, maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement across systems, processes, guidance and stakeholder-facing resources. This includes supporting category activity for allocated spend areas, helping develop the procurement pipeline, using spend and market information, and keeping procurement guidance and intranet content clear, accessible and up to date.

This role is central to helping CHP make procurement decisions that are compliant, commercially sound and aligned to the needs of our stakeholders and communities.

This is a hybrid role, with regular working from one of CHPs main buildings in Manchester, Birmingham or London, and national travel required as needed.
