Whilst you will be involved in all the practical duties you would expect in a busy care home kitchen it is vitally important to continuously ensure that you are mindful and conscious to individual religious and cultural backgrounds and how this might impact on meal choices, alongside making sure that all our residents feel they have a personalised service.
As the critical link between the kitchen and the serving areas you will be conjointly responsible for caring for our residents. The key focus for us is ensuring mealtimes run smoothly and are an enjoyable experience at Akari Care, where all our residents individual needs are catered for.

Experience of working within similar environment
Kitchen and food preparation experience required.
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Experience in a similar environment is required, along with kitchen and food preparation skills. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is necessary. Applicants need a caring nature to provide personalized care, flexible to changes, and able to work well under pressure without negatively impacting those around them. Being warm, approachable, respectful, resilient, and adaptable is essential.
