The Inventory Specialist Vendor Managed I is responsible for managing and replenishing inventory at assigned customer locations. This position develops familiarity with customer organizations, inventory requirements, processes, and procedures while ensuring inventory availability and service excellence. The role operates within established Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes and customer agreements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Responsible for ordering, tracking, replenishing, and reporting inventory levels for assigned customer inventory locations.
• Collect sales and inventory data and maintain weekly reporting to support inventory management activities.
• Perform routine forecasting activities to support product availability and customer service requirements.
• Monitor inventory performance and identify potential stock-outs, excess inventory, or service concerns.
• Report inventory issues, forecasting gaps, and replenishment concerns as they arise.
• Support inventory optimization efforts through data analysis and process compliance.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with customer contacts.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and VMI operating procedures.
• Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, parts operations, or related field.
• Working knowledge of inventory management and replenishment principles.
• Ability to analyze inventory and sales data and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting applications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
