Position: Union Shipper/Receiver Location: Burlington, ON Type: Full-Time, Permanent Pay: $26.79 Hourly

As a Union Shipper/Receiver, you'll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.
What You'll Be Doing
• Be responsible for the shipping and receiving operations of the branch;
• Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and submitted;
• Be responsible for yard, shop, & warehouse organization and cleanliness;
• Assist customers picking up and returning product;
• Load and unload suppliers;
• Assist with fleet drivers and outside carriers;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
• The ability to provide various shipping and receiving duties in a busy, potentially stressful environment;
• Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, with hands-on experience in minor repairs and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;
• Excellent paperwork and organizational skills, with an affinity for process management;
• Ability to work independently when required;
• Willingness to adapt to possible overtime hours;
• Good communication and people skills;
• Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;
