PACE. a member of Empath Health is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary PACE team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you'll provides clinical occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for Suncoast PACE program participants, on acute, restorative or maintenance levels as needed by Day Center, ALF, Nursing Home, or in-home setting. What You'll Do
• Perform comprehensive OT assessments and home safety evaluations
• Develop and implement participant-centered treatment plans
• Coordinate care with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
• Recommend adaptive equipment, orthotics, and home modifications
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Support participant independence, safety, and quality of life

What You'll Need
• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum.
• Legally authorized, currently licensed, registered, or certified if applicable to practice in the state of Florida.
• Minimum one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
• Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook
• Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
• For field-based positions, employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide valid FL driver's license and proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.
