About this role
Design & Development Phase:
• Organise and actively participate in pre-production meetings, providing technical expertise and consultation to brand teams, agencies, printers, and internal stakeholders.
• Advise on print feasibility, print processes, substrates, inks, and finishing techniques to ensure optimal packaging outcomes.
• Collaborate with print partners to conduct print trials, ink drawdowns, colour evaluations, and other technical assessments for new projects.
• Identify potential technical risks early and recommend appropriate solutions.
Artwork Phase:
• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion.
• Establish project timelines, resource plans, budgets, and critical paths to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor project performance against agreed KPIs, including timing, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Gather project requirements and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
• Lead project status meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage risks, issues, and escalations proactively to minimise project disruption.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and project completion.
Prepress Phase:
• Develop and communicate detailed technical briefs to prepress and studio teams to facilitate accurate file preparation.
• Review prepress files and ensure alignment with printer specifications and production requirements.
• Support colour target reviews and approvals with brand teams.
• Coordinate colour communication and expectations between clients and print partners.
• Manage print sample reviews and support marketing teams throughout the approval process.
• Organise, coordinate, and attend press approvals on behalf of client brand teams.
Support print quality assessments and troubleshooting activities as required.
