THE OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of loan and collateral processes within the Collateral Team which includes conducting thorough second reviews of collateral releases, amendment and terminations. May also be responsible for managing workflow and actively participating in team projects and taking on crossfunctional roles to support broader team objectives. Responsible for managing and monitoring collateral associated with loans originated and serviced by the bank throughout their entire lifecycle, this role encompasses a range of duties. It involves safeguarding original loan documentation to maintain compliance and integrity, and ensuring that all collateral remains in good standing, particularly with regard to Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) requirements. The position also includes reporting any tax delinquencies tied to collateralized loans, identifying loans eligible for pledging from a collateral documentation perspective, and ensuring the timely and accurate release of collateral when appropriate. Additionally, the role requires handling and responding to subpoena requests as well as conducting general collateral research and addressing related inquiries. HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
• Prepare collateral releases, amendment and terminations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct second reviews of collateral releases, amendments, and terminations to ensure accuracy and
• compliance.
• Assist in managing workflow for the collateral team.
• Facilitate and actively participate in projects within the Collateral Team.
• Take on cross-functional responsibilities, either on a permanent or interim basis, to support broader team objectives.
• Maintain and monitor original loan files for new, existing, and paid off loans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage a portfolio of loans with UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) filings, including filing, amending, extending, and terminating filings as necessary.
• Run, review, and report on tax delinquency reports to identify and address outstanding tax issues promptly.
• Respond to subpoenas by gathering and providing appropriate backup documentation in a timely and confidential manner.
• Review and process paid off loans, ensuring all collateral releases and terminations are completed
• accurately and without delay.
• Review and certify cash collateral, stocks, and bonds for loans secured by cash or negotiable collateral.
• Ensure loan files are reviewed and coded appropriately and timely for pledging and audit purposes.
• Manage and archive paid off loan files according to company policy and retention requirements.
• Conduct various research related to loans and collateral as requested, supporting compliance and
• operational needs.
• Follow all established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Requires 4+ years of loan servicing experience, banking or relevant industry
• Required advance research skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Preferred knowledge of commercial loans and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• The ability to produce a large volume of work in a very fast paced environment
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High School diploma or equivalent required

SALARY RANGE
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
