Job Purpose:

The Finance Technology Lead has ownership of the functionality and optimization of our financial systems as well as the integrity of the data within. This position will also help lead the efforts of the Finance Team to design and implement transformative solutions, which will include continuous liaison with the corporate AI Engineer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with others to understand and/or anticipate business needs, and subsequently leads the efforts to design and implement solutions within the appropriate financial system, Microsoft 365/Copilot toolset or otherwise

• Assumes a particular interest in learning and staying on top of the latest applications and toolsets for designing and implementing agentic AI. This will allow the role to more efficiently collaborate with the corporate AI Engineer to implement solutions within the Finance function

• Assists with the evaluation and design of financial system upgrades or enhancements, including potential conversion to cloud-based and/or AI-enabled solutions, and then leads the implementation and user training

• Manages the setup of Prophix for the annual budgeting process. Also assists with user training during the kickoff stage, as well as helping users with system-related needs throughout the process

• Performs monthly updates to Prophix, including new user security set up, new provider set up, report/process modifications, and updating dimensions for the new reporting month

• Performs annual steps/updates at year-end to transition to the new fiscal year in our financial systems, as needed

• Creates and monitors controls to ensure data integrity of both budget and reported actual numbers

• Performs regular infrastructure/administrative maintenance as required on our financial systems

• Attends conferences related to our financial systems, toolsets, or job-required continuing education, as determined they are needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field from an accredited college or university, required

• Minimum 6 years previous Accounting or Finance experience required

• Ability to understand and optimize processes

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Working environment is in an office/clinic setting.

● Stand and sit for extended periods of time

● Requires lifting, carrying and/or moving objects in a manner consistent with most office environments (generally, no more than 10 pounds on a frequent basis and 20 pounds on an occasional basis)

● Possess full range of motion in shoulders and arms, including reaching above or below the shoulder.

● Finger dexterity for typing on a keyboard and using a mouse for extended periods of time; ability to twist hands or wrists repetitively

● Vision (e.g., depth perception, color vision, strong vision up close); hearing (e.g., high pitch sounds, soft or distant sounds)
