About this role
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure workshop and walk-way areas are kept free of debris and dirt.
• Maintain housekeeping & safety standards within all internal & external areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure waste is segregated and disposed of accordingly.
• Assist skilled tradespeople on-site with various tasks.
• Perform various tasks as directed by Management.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Previous labouring experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift, overhead crane/pillar crane experience/certification preferred.
• Spill control training/experience preferred.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively with others and on own initiative.
Ensure all QA and departmental procedures and policies are adhered to in order to maintain quality standards
Fulfil responsibilities under the Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and ensure as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare of the team. In particular, give full attention to:
• Risk Assessments/COSHH Assessments and the control measures identified therein.
• Compliance with all HSE warning and information signs.
• Compliance with all Company assigned PPE requirements.
Fulfil responsibilities with all Company Environmental Initiatives, in particular:
• Waste segregation – paper, metals, wood, oils etc.
