• Base compensation starts at $25.70 per hour, with potential earnings reaching up to $52.00 per service hour, alongside gratuities. This includes a 25% commission on services provided and the opportunity for discretionary performance bonuses 2X yearly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Exemplifies MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Check in guests and confirm appointments in a timely and friendly manner.
• Assist in managing reservation software.
• Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and other specialized modalities, tailored to the client's needs.
• Consult with clients to assess their specific concerns, medical history, and preferences before each session.
• Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Create a comfortable and serene environment for clients by setting up treatment rooms with appropriate ambiance and equipment.
• Customize massages to address specific muscular issues, injuries, or stress points.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes and progress.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct in client interactions.
• Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards in the treatment area and equipment.
• Maintain the highest level of personal hygiene and professional appearance while on duty.
• Collaborate with other spa staff to create a seamless and relaxing experience for clients.
• Promote MCR spa services and products to clients based on their needs and preferences.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new massage techniques, and wellness practices.
• Attend various trainings for product and service knowledge.
• Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• (A massage therapist will also be required to offer “Body Services” in addition to massage. (Example: body scrubs and wraps)
• Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Ability to obtain a Class IIIB gaming license.
• Valid Massage Therapist license/certification from WA State Department of Health.
• American Heart or CPR Certification Required.
• 1 (one) year of proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a spa or wellness center.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities.
• 2 (two) years of customer service experience.
• Hospitality experience a plus.
