Position Summary:
The Affiliate Brand Services Specialist enhances the member experience by supporting strategic affiliate partnerships that prioritize exceptional service. This role collaborates with affiliate partners to ensure all interactions reflect MSUFCU's mission of outstanding service, financial education, and tailored solutions. Working closely with the Affiliate Brand Services Manager, the Affiliate Brand Services Specialist provides operational support, ensures consistent communication, and gathers feedback to identify service improvement opportunities. This position plays a key role in maintaining alignment between affiliate activities and the credit union's values and member-focused goals.
Work Arrangement: This position is available to work hybrid or onsite at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
An offer of employment with MSU Federal Credit Union and affiliates is contingent upon the agreed work arrangement (onsite/hybrid) and work location. MSU Federal Credit Union may or may not be able to accommodate temporary or permanent changes to work arrangements or allow employment outside the city and/or state of residency in which the new hire resides at the time of offered employment.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary Range: $55,000+ dependent on experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Affiliate Brand Services Specialist I:
• Build and maintain strong affiliate relationships to enhance the member experience.
• Provide training, resources, and support to ensure consistent, high-quality service across affiliate touchpoints.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and affiliate partners, facilitating communication and continuous improvement.
• Gather and analyze member feedback and performance metrics (e.g., NPS) to recommend service enhancements.
• Support affiliate initiatives, promotions, and events to drive member engagement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards while promoting transparency and integrity.
• Deliver proactive member support through outbound communication and informed service delivery.
• Understand the Credit Union's policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accountability for managing operational risks. Adhere to established internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and maintain the integrity of credit union operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Affiliate Brand Services Specialist I
• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in customer experience, affiliate management, or partner relations, preferably in financial services.
• Demonstrated experience supporting partnerships or affiliate programs with a focus on delivering service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Proven experience collaborating across internal teams and external partners.
• Experience gathering, analyzing and reporting feedback to drive service or process improvements.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and/or CRM or partner management systems is preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• May be required to remain in a stationary position for an extended period.
• Ability to operate standard office technology, equipment, and tools, which may include many hours of computer and phone usage.
• Occasionally needs to move about inside of an office area.
• Frequently needs to move about inside or outside of an office area.
• Exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e. robbery. Receives detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize the exposure.
• Frequently moves equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds for transport between areas of buildings.
• This position requires onsite presence at the employees' assigned location for all scheduled shifts.
• This position can work in hybrid or onsite working arrangements.
