HKN Hamrin Ltd. is a privately held, independent oil and gas company operating in the Republic of Iraq. The Hamrin Block is comprised of 535 km2 and contains one producing field. The Hamrin field produces oil primarily from the Tertiary (Miocene) reservoirs — the Jeribe and Euphrates formations — with the Dhiban formation as a secondary reservoir.

Position Summary:
Laundry personnel are responsible for cleaning, pressing, and ironing variety of different items, but most often clothing. This may involve hand-cleaning items using chemicals, solvents, bleach, detergents, or other cleaning items to remove spots and stains. Laundry cleaners are also responsible for operating machines such as washers, dryers, pressing/iron and extractors. They must often pre-soak, sterilize, scrub or dry contaminated or stained items before loading them into the machines.
Laundry cleaners are required to operate and control equipment at correct temperatures to safeguard various fabrics of materials not to be damaged due to operating and control.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure that all equipment is in a safe and working order.
• Inspect articles for stains and fabrics that require special care.
• Sort articles to be cleaned by fabric type, colour, and cleaning technique.
• Load clothing into laundry and drying machines.
• Add detergent, bleach, and other chemicals to laundry and dry-cleaning machines.
• Remove, sort, and hang clothing and other articles after they are removed from the machines.
• Clean and maintain laundry and drying machines.
• Iron all washed clothing and linen to a neat, presentable standard.
• Properly fold and sort laundered items by owner and room number.
• Return clean, ironed, and folded laundry to the correct rooms/cabins in a timely manner,
• Maintain a log/register of laundry collected from and returned to each room,
• Report any damaged, missing, or unclaimed items to the Camp Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
• Must be of legal age to work by require age of 18 or older by labour law.
• Candidates must have authorization documents from the local Asiash Security division and local Mayor.
• Candidate shall be fit and healthy and use to long hours of manual working.
• Candidate shall be expected to carry a “Medical Card”
• Candidate shall agree to undergo a medical health check prior to signing the Employment Contract.
• The Working Hours 12 hrs.
• The Candidate shall be expected to make his own way to and from the Work location. Company will provide monthly transportation fee.
• Candidate must be flexible and agree to be moved from one Work site to the next Work site depending on Company's requirements.
• Candidate must take instructions from the Company's Camp Boss for general housekeeping.
Physical Requirements
• Must be fit and Healthy and have an up-date Yellow Card with Doctors certificates.
• Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description
