HKN Hamrin Ltd. is a privately held, independent oil and gas company operating in the Republic of Iraq. The Hamrin Block is comprised of 535 km2 and contains one producing field. The Hamrin field produces oil primarily from the Tertiary (Miocene) reservoirs — the Jeribe and Euphrates formations — with the Dhiban formation as a secondary reservoir.

Position Summary
This position reports to the Government Relations Manager and provides a wide range of administrative and government relations support. Key responsibilities include delivering and processing documents, coordinating with relevant government departments in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, and following up on updates.
This role requires tasks to be completed on time while working collaboratively and maintaining a positive and professional attitude. This position is also responsible for other administrative activities that support the company as assigned by the Government Relations Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• File and maintain incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with proper records management process.
• Translate company documents between English – Arabic and Vise versa.
• Coordinate visa and residency process for all expatriate personnel.
• Coordinate customs clearance process for all company related imports and exports.
• Ensure effective record-keeping of all correspondence between the company and government authorities including internal notification and distribution as required.
• Coordinate all paperwork required to expat residency renewals.
• Monitor and follow up of new government instructions and regulations regarding the relevant matters.
• Perform any other duties required within scope.
Minimum Qualifications
• BSc in Business Administration or similar degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
• Working proficiency in English, sufficient to prepare reports, translate and review correspondence and communicate with international stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with liabilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and make appropriate recommendations.
