Position Summary:
The FS Site Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the on-site setup of the Hamrin Field camp, including civil, electrical, and general construction works, from initial site works through to occupancy readiness. This role requires a working knowledge of civils, construction, electrical, and general engineering disciplines to supervise contractors and vendors and ensure the camp is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality and technical standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise the on-site setup and mobilization of the Hamrin Field camp, including civil, electrical, and general construction works, from initial site works through to occupancy readiness.
• Review and interpret civil, electrical, and architectural drawings and technical specifications related to camp setup.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and subcontractors delivering camp fabrication and setup works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, safety compliance, and adherence to setup timelines.
• Liaise with the HKN electrical team on power distribution, generator sizing, earthing systems, and temporary power arrangements during camp setup.
• Verify contractor progress claims and invoices against actual site progress prior to approval.
• Ensure all works comply with HKN HSE standards, local building codes, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate material take-offs (MTOs), procurement, and logistics for camp setup materials.
• Maintain setup documentation, punch lists, and close-out records, and provide regular progress reports to the Field Services Team Lead ahead of camp handover and occupancy.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience managing renovation, construction, or infrastructure projects, preferably in remote or industrial settings.
• Working proficiency in English sufficient to prepare reports and correspond with international stakeholders.
• Basic working knowledge of civil works, structural elements, and building construction methods.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings (civil, electrical, and architectural).
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and budget management skills.
• Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and project scheduling software (e.g. MS Project).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in Hamrin Field.
