Job Duties:
• Telephones
• Tasking
• Triage
• Pre-certifications
• Medication Refills
• Assistance with scheduling on occasion
• Rooming patients
• Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories.
• Preparing patients for exams.
• Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures
• Injections
• Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas.
• As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings
• Various other duties as assigned/needed.
Certified Nurses Assistants may also be considered for this position but must be willing to obtain certification in Clinical Medical Assisting within the first year of employment if hired.
