Job Description:
Position Responsibilities Access client's systems, databases, and other system applications or contact the client directly to verify account balances and make necessary adjustments according to established policies and procedures Review payments received and apply appropriate amount to account, ensuring client has approved amount that is posted Coordinate with Information Technology department to identify client file issues Maintain good relationships with client contacts as well as areas of support Address client's inquiries through various forms of communication (e.g., phone, email, etc.) according to established policies and procedures, escalating inquiries as needed to a supervisor Requirements Education and Experience High School diploma or GED certificate or equivalent in relevant work experience desired. Minimum 1-year clerical or administrative experience required. Previous insurance or healthcare receivables experience preferred. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Proficient personal computer skills. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Work environment / Physical requirements Work environment is an office location. The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone Must have excel exp.
