What You'll Do

As a Field Recruiter, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle for field and operational positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs and attract qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination.

• Partner with field managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and create accurate job descriptions.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates across multiple recruiting channels.

• Post and manage job advertisements across relevant platforms.

• Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.

• Schedule and coordinate interviews while ensuring a consistent candidate experience.

• Participate in interviews and provide hiring recommendations to managers and stakeholders.

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to develop competitive offers, including compensation recommendations and start-date planning.

• Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress within the applicant tracking system.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

• Represent the organization at career fairs, recruiting events, and community hiring initiatives.

• Support additional recruiting and talent acquisition projects as business needs evolve.

What You'll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

• Meet with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand staffing priorities, hiring challenges, and workforce planning needs.

• Learn the company's recruiting processes, applicant tracking system, and interview practices.

• Take ownership of active job openings and begin screening, interviewing, and advancing candidates.

• Attend hiring events, review sourcing channels, and identify opportunities to improve candidate flow for high-priority positions.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

Within your first three months, you will:

• Build strong working relationships with field leaders and understand workforce needs across assigned locations.

• Independently manage open requisitions from intake through offer stage.

• Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate data within the applicant tracking system.

• Establish sourcing strategies that consistently generate qualified candidate pipelines.

• Become a trusted recruiting partner who provides hiring managers with actionable market insights and candidate recommendations.

Must Have

• 1-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.

• Experience recruiting for high-volume positions, preferably within transportation, logistics, operations, or similar industries.

• Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS).

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and candidates.

• Working knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting for transportation or field-based operational roles.

• Experience attending job fairs, hiring events, or campus recruiting initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience developing creative sourcing strategies across multiple candidate channels.

• Experience making compensation recommendations or supporting offer negotiations.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
