Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Accept, log, and track incoming package deliveries in Building Link (marking the apartment number on each), coordinating with delivery carriers and handling after-hours package transfers from the front desk.
• Organize, secure, and maintain the package room to ensure accurate inventory and efficient package retrieval.
• Notify residents of package arrivals, verify resident identification before releasing packages, and sign packages out in Building Link.
• Expedite delivery of perishable items (e.g., medications or food boxes) to the front desk for prompt resident pickup.
• Investigate and assist in resolving missing, delayed, or damaged package issues.
• Lock off the service elevator and open the loading dock in preparation for scheduled resident move-ins and move-outs.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
• Work Environment: Work is performed primarily indoors within the package room and mailroom areas of the community, with periodic exposure to the loading dock, service elevator, and outdoor areas when accepting deliveries or supporting move-ins and move-outs. Noise levels are generally low to moderate but may increase during high-volume delivery periods or move activity. The employee may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and may be required to work beyond normal scheduled hours during peak delivery seasons or scheduled moves.
