How you will create impact:
• Prepare and/or assist in income (corporate income tax, trusts) tax filings for the insurance and other companies
• Prepare and/or assist with tax account reconciliations for companies within the corporate group
• Prepare and/or assist with income tax process to assess/analyze payments made to foreign vendors, investment activity, and other income tax analysis
• Gather tax-related information for surveys and reports
• Analyze and/or respond to correspondences from tax authorities
• Assist with technical tax research, tax audits, process documentation
• Assist with creating reports using our tax software
• Various other analysis and tasks as they arise.
To join our team:
• You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Working towards a professional accounting designation
• Prior taxation experience gained within public practice and/or industry is an asset
• Competency in use of tax preparation software (Taxprep & Taxprep Forms) and Microsoft Office is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
• Positive attitude and a desire to learn.

Salary information
Expected hourly range $22 - $27
