CLASS SUMMARY
As a member of the Winter Operations Team, you have to be ready for a storm at all times. The team is divided into 3 areas; Street side, Ramp and Airfield; with over 60 different types of snow equipment for use to clean the areas you are working on. Some storms last multiple shifts and even days. The work continues through the end of the storm and all areas are clean, including getting the equipment ready for the next snow event.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Performs a variety of semi-skilled operations and maintenance duties.
• Performs snow removal for the street side, ramp and airfield for safe operations and to maintain the appearance of the Airport.
• Cleans, maintains and organizes tools, equipment, and shop areas.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: HSD/GED
Minimum Years of Direct Experience: 1
Details:
Light maintenance experience
Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS
Required
• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance
• Valid commercial driver's license A or B
Preferred
Additional Security Levels Required (Customs or Police Department)

Airfield Driving
This position requires driving on the airfield and airfield ramps.
