Hourly pay for this position is between $24-$26 per hour, dependent on experience.
Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. This role includes operating transloading equipment, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, performing inspections, completing documentation, and supporting rail operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely load and unload railcars and transfer products
• Operate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipment
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs
• Complete operational logs and safety documentation
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly
• Support switching crews and other site operations as required
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights
• Industrial or hazardous materials experience considered an asset
• Must meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screening
