About this role
Key Responsibilities • Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks • Participates in day-to-day running of the shop floor • Ensures adherence to applicable Barnes Aerospace internal, federal, state and local laws and regulations related to compliance and takes responsibility to ensure ongoing conformity with such rules and regulations.
Job Requirements • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required • 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing/shop environment • Some computer experience in MS Office is desirable; Must have a strong work ethic and ability to use computers and other office equipment. • Ability to drive a hi-lo; ability to obtain certification. Knowledge of hand and power tools, cleaning, lifting, sawing, grinding, and able to use electric pallet jacks and forklifts. • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA
