About this role
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in EHS within manufacturing environments
• Experience in metal-mechanical, or HVAC operations preferred
• Proven leadership experience leading EHS functions or teams at plant level
• Hands-on leadership style with strong shop floor presence
• Experience in plant start-up, expansion, or implementing EHS programs from early stages
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, EHS, Environmental or related field
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (STPS / OSHA / environmental)
• Experience working directly with Plant Manager and site leadership
• Advanced English required
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead EHS programs in a metal-mechanical / HVAC manufacturing environment (LOTO, PPE, machine safety, ergonomics, confined spaces, hazardous materials)
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations (STPS, OSHA, air permits, wastewater, hazardous waste)
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; drive action closure
• Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety culture
• Track and present EHS KPIs to plant leadership
• Drive sustainability initiatives (water, waste, emissions reduction)
• Partner with plant and global teams on continuous improvement
• Oversee on-site medical services and occupational health programs
