What's the role?
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Wodonga. In this hands on role, you'll support day to day kitchen and catering operations, helping deliver high quality food service while maintaining exceptional hygiene, food safety, and customer service standards.
This is a Full Time role, you can expect to be working Mon to Fri from 1.00pm to 9.00pm 38hrs per week.
Key responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and serviceMaintain cleanliness and food safety standards across all kitchen and service areasWash, sanitise, and organise kitchen equipment and utensilsReceive, store, and rotate stock while supporting inventory managementSupport catering events and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth serviceAbout you
Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service, or a commercial kitchenPassion for delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a teamStrong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practicesReliable, organised, and able to thrive in a fast paced environmentFlexible with shifts and willing to learn and grow within the catering industryWhy Choose Sodexo?
