Job description <br>Excellent opportunity for an experienced criminal defence/professional disciplinary solicitor in a busy litigation boutique ranked by both the <em>Legal 500 </em>and <em>Chambers and Partners </em>in Farringdon, London.<br> <br>The successful applicant will undertake criminal defence and professional regulatory/disciplinary work. They will work collaboratively with other members of the team and report to Nick Brett. They must have experience of police investigations and defending criminal prosecutions and an excellent knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Rules. They should be adept at running their own caseload and progressing matters with supervision. <br> <br>The department works on a privately funded basis and the client base predominantly comprises of professional individuals. Applicants should have experience with private instructions. They should also be natural communicators and comfortable advising people from a wide range of backgrounds. The successful candidate Applicants will be able to demonstrate achievement at a leading firm or specialist boutique firm. They will be expected to give specific examples of cases that they have worked on from investigation to trial. They will be expected to talk about their commercial understanding of private criminal practice, their financial performance and ability to meet targets.<br> <br>The reputation and workload of the firm has grown considerably in recent years.
