The Digital Traffic Manager is 3 fold, it will serve as a connection point between the creative team, digital campaign managers and external business units feeding briefs to the digital studio. The successful candidate will prioritise the influx and queue of projects, will set deadlines for each phase of a project, and will ensure that all brief requests contain enough context and assets before work begins. This individual is also responsible for managing and improving on an existing internal system to ensure that the work is appropriately prioritised and that the digital studio runs smoothly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION A degree or diploma in marketing

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 3 to 5 years’ experience in a project manager/traffic manager role preferably in a digital agency or retail environment dealing with multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Experience working on digital campaigns involving multiple advertising and/or digital agency environments in a collaborative manner.

TECHNICAL SKILLS Experience with project or workflow management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Workfront).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Receive and call for briefs from all external departments. Create project plans and timings for all projects. Creative brief trafficking, ensuring briefs are received and project kickoffs are scheduled on time Act as liaison between creative team — designers, writers, multimedia specialists, content agency and stakeholders across marketing department and other departments. When job requests come in, communicate with the creative team and its stakeholders to ensure all background info, specs, and resources are available before work begins. Maintain the queue of projects/jobs that are assigned to the digital marketing team, and schedule and track the status and progress of each project until completion. Oversee individual team schedules/workloads for availability of new work. Communicate with all teams regarding current deadline status and any issues. Co-ordinate with the necessary production resources and source additional resources when required. Update the resource schedule daily to ensure accurate scheduling of all projects with regards to resource leave requests. Support creative team by keeping jobs on schedule; reschedule due dates when necessary. Ensure that implemented systems and processes are being followed Lead weekly traffic meetings with creative team Lead weekly traffic meetings with digital campaign managers and HOD. Update team and HOD on progress of active projects and prepare for upcoming projects. Provide solutions for efficiency and improvement on an ongoing basis. Capacity planning and risk reporting. Management of freelancer database and manage vendor on-boarding of freelancers and 3rd parties. Leave tracking and form management. Assist department head with diary planning for review purposes, job or project prioritisation understanding is critical.
